Cleaning wood floors is easy. Regular maintenance includes sweeping with a soft bristle broom or dusting with a dry microfiber mop. If the floor has beveled edges, vacuum with the beater bar turned off to remove dust from between the floor boards. Clean the floors periodically with a professional wood floor cleaning product.
To keep wood floors looking and performing well for generations, follow these guidelines. Individual maintenance schedules will vary depending on use, wear and tear, and lifestyle.
The floor is installed. Now its everyday life, with all its challenges, begins. Stiletto heels and dirty or wet shoes put the floor to the test, time and time again. When it comes to maintenance, prevention is better than cure.
The need for maintenance depends on a number of factors and varies from case to case. More regular maintenance is required on floors where there is greater wear, such as where people walk with outdoor shoes.
It becomes evident when a floor needs maintenance since it starts to feel more difficultto clean than before.
The sub floor surface temperature may never exceed 27°C. Electrical radiant sub floor heating systems installed as foil-heating element may be used only if the manufacturer of the heating element can ensure that the sub floor surface temperature is never above 27°C. if the sub floor temperature exceeds 27°C a barrier must be inserted under the floor in order to dissipate the heat and achieve the correct reading. A sub floor thermostat must be installed in order to control the temperature. The heating engineers installing the underfloor heating should provide evidence that the sub floor temperature is limited to 27°C.
Lalegno Wall Aesthetics Panels should on be installed indoors. All exterior doors and windows must be installed and full operational prior to installing them. All concrete, masonry and plastering works and other moisture increasing activates must be carried out and have had sufficient time to dry. At least 14 days before installation (and at all times after installation) the site needs to have a constant temperature of 15-24°C and humidity level of 40% to 65% to allow for proper acclimatisation.
If these ideal conditions are not respected cracks and crevices can appear and eventually the wall covering can start to vend or begin to show other defects. The moisture content of the wall that has to be covered should be checked using a suitable test method and all results must be recorded.
