The flooring has been laid free floating above Duralay acoustic underlay with each board bonded tounge to groove using Lecol PVAC wooden flooring adhesive.
Once the flooring installation was complete white quadrant was fixed to the perimeter of the floor space in addition to solid oak flatplate’s around the fireplace. Both products were used to mask the expansion gap left for the flooring to expand and contract naturally.
The job was finalised with the fixings of solid oak radiator roses.
