Featuring an extremely stable SPC (Stone Polymer Composite) core, a huge 0.7mm scratch & water resistant commercial grade wear layer as well as a built-in underlay offering sound reduction up to 19dB, our RVP is the perfect floor covering for a high-traffic area.
The RVP has been laid free floating above a prepared subfloor which presented many challenges. With undulations of up to 25mm and with old carpet adhesive residue present we achieved a required sub-floor tolerance of +/- 2mm over a 3m area using 3 separate coats of Mapei Latex Trade Plan N/A No Ammonia.
Each plank has been fixed to one another using the floorings built-in locking system.
Once the flooring had been installed a combination of white primed scotia, silver ramps and Cortese coloured end caps were fixed to the perimeter of the floor space to mask the expansion gap left for the flooring to expand and contract naturally.
The job was finalised with the installation of a 7mm high Anthracite entrance matting.
