The subfloor at this apartment was levelled using Mapei Latex levelling compound to achieve a tolerance of +/- 2mm under a 3m straight edge.
The 4mm thick Country Oak LVT planks were laid free floating above a QA Soundclick underlay with each board locked in to one another using the floorings built-in click system. An expansion gap was maintained around the perimeter of the flooring to account for any natural movement.
The flooring installation was complete once white primed MDF Scotia had been fixed to the perimeter of the floorspace and Radiator Roses had been fitted.
